RAIN FOREST RESORT VILLAGE / LAKESIDE RV PARK:
The only RV park on Lake Quinault, all our sites offer water and electricity. 3 and 1/2 miles from Highway 101 on the South Shore Road of Lake Quinault. The Lakeside RV Park is within easy walking distance of the Salmon House Restaurant and the Rain Forest General Store. With 31 sites, there is usually always something available. FALLS CREEK CAMPGROUND / U.S.F.S
Falls Creek Campground is located on the South Shore of Lake Quinault in a beautiful rain forest setting. The campground is shaded by a dense overstory of red cedar, western hemlock and big leaf maple. The lush vegetation provides ample privacy between most sites. The scenery is suburb, with views of Lake Quinault, Falls Creek and the Upper Quinault Valley. The campground offers camping and picnicking, as well as opportunities to hike the Quinault Lakeshore Trail. A boat launch provides access for sailing, canoeing and fishing. Swimming is also popular during the mid-summer months.

The site is staffed by a campground host. There are 21 campsites that can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs up to 16 feet in length as well as 10 walk-in tent sites. The campground has a potable water system, but does not offer individual hook ups for RV's. The site also has a barrier- free flush toilet as well as several accessible camp and picnic sites. Four day use picnic sites are located along the shoreline and a large covered shelter, which was built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930's, provide opportunities for large families or groups.

WILLABY CAMPGROUND / U.S.F.S
Willaby Campground is located one mile southwest of the Pacific Ranger District, Quinault Office on the South Shore of Lake Quinault. Most of the campsites are nestled along a narrow bench which overlooks the lake and the forested slopes of the Olympic National Park. The forest here is characterized by towering old growth Douglas fir, western redcedar and Sitka spruce trees. The profusion of understory vegetation is typical of the temperate rain forest environment. The scenery here varies from filtered views of the lake to spectacular evening sunsets.

The campground offers camping and picnicking and hiking opportunities on the nearby Quinault Rain Forest Nature Trail. A boat launch and adjacent parking area provide access for fishing, canoeing and kayaking. A large open beach near the mouth of Willaby Creek is a favorite destination for picnicking, swimming and sunbathing.

The site is staffed by a campground host. There are 19 campsites that can accommodate tents, trailers and RV's up to 20 feet in length, 10 overflow sites that are suitable for RV's up to 32 feet in length and 2 walk-in tent sites. The campground has a potable water system, 2 barrier free flush toilets and several camp and picnic sites which can accommodate wheelchair access.

GATTON CREEK CAMPGROUND / U.S.F.S
Gatton Creek Campground is a small campground and picnic area located on Lake Quinault, ½ mile west of the Rain Forest Resort Village. The lakeside campsites are situated just inside the hardwood forest canopy which helps provide shelter on warm or windy days. The picnic area is located at the mouth of Gatton Creek and has views of the Upper Quinault Valley and the Colonel Bob Wilderness. A small wetland between the campground and picnic area provides excellent opportunities to view birds and other waterfowl. The Gatton Creek Trailhead, which is located 100 yards south of the campground, offers hiking access to the Quinault National Recreation Trail System.

There are 5 walk-in tent sites and 3 day-use picnic sites. The paved parking area can be utilized for 10 overflow sites for self-contained RV's. There is no potable water on site but water is available at the nearby Falls Creek Campground. A barrier-free vault toilet and designated camp and picnic sites provide wheelchair access.
