Lake Quinault Lodge -- Roosevelt Dining Room

Enjoy sumptuous dining in the old-fashioned elegance of the Roosevelt Dining Room. Given the name after President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s visit in June of 1938, our full service dining room features delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus filled with the northwest’s most delectable cuisine.

To get you through an arduous day of exploring nearby rain forest trails, we offer a full breakfast of ham, sausage, or bacon with eggs, hash browns or fresh fruit and a fresh-baked biscuit or toast. If you are looking for a more hardy breakfast try our smoked salmon Benedict. For one’s sweet tooth, we suggest our sweet potato pancakes topped with our roasted hazelnut butter.

Hikers don’t forget to order your box lunch for your day’s hiking. It will be ready for you when you are finished with your breakfast.

Our lunch menu is sure to suit anyone’s fancy. Try our Monte Cristo sandwich, which people come from many miles away to enjoy. Rainbow trout pan-fried and topped with a light lemon caper sauce, or fresh salmon grilled to perfection are accompanied by wild rice pilaf and fresh steamed vegetables. We offer fresh homemade soups and our ever popular clam chowder is served steaming hot.

But, it is dinner that brings people from far and wide to enjoy in the romantic atmosphere of the Roosevelt Dining Room. There is not a moment anywhere in the world that surpasses a Lake Quinault sunset. Remember that you are in the rain forest, and no promises are made, but when the sun shines, the evenings are absolutely breathtaking. .

Our dinner menu features entrees of filet mignon, prime rib, seafood pasta, and our signature dinner, cedar plank salmon for two. Appetizers include pan-fried oysters, calamari, steamer clams, and crab cakes as the first course to your dinner. We have a wide variety of soups and salads leading up to the main entrees.

Our dessert menu is to die for – caramel apple pie, decadent chocolate cake, turtle cheese cake, and everyone’s favorite, our famous Marionberry Cobbler.

The Roosevelt Room wine list has a wine to entice your palate with any of the entrees on our menu. A complete array of liquor is also available for your before and after dinner desires.

Throughout our busy summer months we strongly suggest asking your reservation host/hostess to assist you in your early dinner reservations.
